The introduction of mathematical concepts such as number, value of money, measurement, and counting operations can be done in a fun way through activities that are contextual and close to children's lives, one of which is through market day activities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of market day as a contextual learning math strategy in ECE, with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through open-ended interviews with teachers, direct observation during the activities, and documentation in the form of photos and field notes. The results showed that market day had a positive impact on improving the understanding of basic math concepts in a contextual way. Children are actively involved in a simple buying and selling process that allows them to learn to count, recognize the value of money, and understand the concepts of more and less and addition in a real way. In addition, this activity also supports children's social-emotional development through interaction, cooperation, and communication. This study found novelty in the integration of numeracy and social skills in one authentic activity that is relevant to the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in early childhood education.</p>2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nabila Nurhaliza Ali, Iqna Lailatus Salamah, Ai Siti Faozahhttp://journal.putragaluh.ac.id/index.php/joece/article/view/230Pengaruh Media Loose Parts terhadap Perkembangan Motorik Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun2025-12-31T16:10:46+00:00Rifa Fauziyatul Azizahrifaazizah91@admin.paud.belajar.idAnggi Purwa Nugrahapurwa991@gmail.com<p>This study aims to examine the effect of loose parts media on fine motor development in children aged 4–5 years at TK Sabilul Huda. The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design involving 12 children. Data were collected through structured observations using fine motor skill assessment instruments and analyzed using descriptive and inferential quantitative methods. Results indicated significant improvement following loose parts implementation. In the pretest, 75% of children were categorized as Not Yet Developed and 25% as Starting to Develop. Post-treatment, 41.7% of children achieved the Developing as Expected category and 58.3% reached Very Well Developed. N-gain analysis showed an average of 0.797 (high category), while the Wilcoxon test yielded p = 0.002157 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that loose parts media effectively improves fine motor skills in early childhood.</p>2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rifa Fauziyatul Azizah, Anggi Purwa Nugrahahttp://journal.putragaluh.ac.id/index.php/joece/article/view/201Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Pembiasaan terhadap Perkembangan Nilai Agama dan Moral Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di SPS Kartika2025-08-05T07:27:02+00:00Nurhaedah Nurhaedahedahnurhaedah25@gmail.comEndang Mulyaniendmulya83@gmail.comYusuf Hidayatyusufhid@gmail.comLela Rosidahlelarosidah6@gimil.com<p>Instilling religious and moral values is very important applied as the basis life for growing early childhood's noble character. This study aims to determine the development of religious and moral values of early childhood aged 4-5 years before and after using the habituation method, as well as to determine the effect of applying habituation method on the development of religious and moral values of early childhood aged 4-5 years at SPS Kartika. This study used a quantitative method under a pre-experimental design. The results of the study showed that before being given treatment in the form of applying habituation method, the development of religious and moral values of early childhood aged 4-5 years at SPS Kartika showed “Starting to Develop” (MB). Furthermore, after being given treatment in the form of applying habituation method, the development of religious and moral values of early childhood aged 4-5 years at SPS Kartika showed “Developing Very Well” (BSB). Then, based on the results of the t-test, it was stated that t-observed > t-table, at which the scores were 12.5 > 2.093 under a significance level of 0.05. The comparative scores indicated that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It confirms that the use of habituation method has a significant influence on the development of the early childhood’s aged 4-5 years religious and moral values at SPS Kartika.</p>2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurhaedah Nurhaedah, Endang Mulyani, Yusuf Hidayat, Lela Rosidahhttp://journal.putragaluh.ac.id/index.php/joece/article/view/231Membangun Komunikasi Positif: Studi Kasus di TK Sabilul Huda2025-12-31T16:47:12+00:00Anggi Purwa Nugrahapurwa991@gmail.comRifa Fauziyatul Azizahrifaazizah91@admin.paud.belajar.id<p>This study explore positive communication strategies between teachers and parents at Sabilul Huda Kindergarten, as well as analyze their impact on child development and parental involvement. The study used a correlational quantitative approach with 10 children as subjects. Data were collected using a validated Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman's correlation test with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that most of the children's cognitive development fell into the "Developing as Expected" category (80%), followed by "Developing Very Well" (10%) and "Beginning to Develop" (10%). The children's fine motor development showed good results, with 60% of children in the Developing as Expected category and 40% in the Developing Very Well category. However, the correlation test results showed a significance value of 0.596 (>0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.191, indicating no significant relationship between cognitive and fine motor development. Thus, the use of loose parts media has not been statistically proven to show a correlation between these two aspects of development.</p>2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rini Purbayani, Nabila Nurhaliza Ali
