One of the important factors that influence this stage is cognitive stimulation, which includes the ability to think, recognize patterns, solve problems, and understand cause-and-effect relationships. Play is an effective way to encourage children's cognitive growth, because through this fun activity, children can explore ideas, hone their imagination, and learn to solve various challenges. Play also supports memory, focus, and social skills such as cooperation, sharing and conflict resolution. Thus, play-based approaches are essential in supporting the holistic development of early childhood. This study aims to explore play strategies that can effectively stimulate children's cognitive development, as well as provide applicative guidance for parents and educators to optimize these methods. It is hoped that the findings from this research can be a source of insight for creating play activities that are not only fun but also full of educational value, in order to support the maximum learning experience for children.</p> Wulan Purnama Sari Puri Auliya Sri Wahyuni Copyright (c) 2025 Wulan Purnama Sari, Puri Auliya, Sri Wahyuni 2025-06-30 2025-06-30 2 1 48 57 10.61580/joece.v2i1.168 Pengaruh Permainan Puzzle Terhadap Perkembangan Kognitif Anak Kelompok B1 di RA Fastabiqul Khairat https://journal.putragaluh.ac.id/index.php/joece/article/view/164 <p>This study aims to determine the cognitive development of early childhood before and after using puzzle games, and to determine the effect of puzzle games on the cognitive development of early childhood. The method used is quantitative, with the type of research pre-experimental design with a One-Group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used a saturated sample of 14 children. Data were collected through observation sheets, then analyzed quantitatively using the Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that during the pretest, 71.43% of children were in the category of Not Developing (BB) and 28.57% of children were in the category of Starting to Develop (MB). After using the puzzle game, the posttest results showed 42.86% of children were in the Developing As Expected (BSH) category and 57.14% of children were in the Very Good Developing (BSB) category. The Wilcoxon test results show a sig value of 0.001, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that puzzle games have an effect on children's cognitive development in group B1 at RA Fastabiqul Khairat.</p> Shopa Marwati Rini Purbayani Ani Herniawati Copyright (c) 2025 Shopa Marwati, Rini Purbayani, Ani Herniawati 2025-06-30 2025-06-30 2 1 1 15 10.61580/joece.v2i1.164 Penggunaan Media Gambar untuk Menstimulus Kemampuan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini https://journal.putragaluh.ac.id/index.php/joece/article/view/169 <p>This study aims to determine the extent to which the use of picture media in learning can improve early childhood language skills compared to learning without picture media, and to analyze its effect on improving language skills.
